CF Kids

Partnering with Parents to Make Disciples

CF Kids includes children ages 0-12.  Because we believe the Scripture clearly identifies parents as the primary disciple-makers in the lives of their children, our aim is to partner with parents to raise children to know, love and serve Jesus Christ.  For children ages 0-12, we offer programing on Sunday mornings during our worship services, and additionally a midweek gathering on Wednesday evenings for children ages 5-11.

Sunday

I'm New. What should I expect on Sunday morning?

Check-in

Once you enter the lobby at CF, head to a Kidcheck Kiosk to get checked in. There is one located on the counter at the nursery, and another just beyond the stairwell that exits the lobby to the lower level. At either at the kiosks, a staff member or volunteer will be nearby to greet you and help you get checked in. Once you check in, you will be able to print your child’s name tag and a Guardian Receipt. This is the receipt you will use to pick up your child after the service.

Drop-off

Children ages 0-35 months can be dropped off at their classroom immediately after checking them in. If you need help finding it, a nearby volunteer or staff member will be happy to escort you there. Drop off anything your child needs with the classroom teacher.

Children ages 3 years to 6th grade (5th/6th grade during the 10:45am service only) are not initially dropped off at their class, but are invited to join their family for the music portion of the worship service, and then dismissed to their classes following the first few songs. Their teachers will greet them in the lobby and lead them to class following their dismissal.

Pick-up

After the service is over, you can pick up your child from their class by presenting the Guardian Receipt you received during check-in.

FAQ's

What if my child needs me?

Using the number you have provided through KidCheck, we will text you if your child needs you at any time during the service.

How do you screen leaders in CF kids?

Every Staff and Volunteer leader involved with children has gone through an extensive application process. Some of the components of that process include a personal interview, an in-depth questionnaire, personal reference checks, criminal background check, and online video Child Safety Training.

How are classrooms divided?

Our nursery is located on the main floor adjacent to the worship gathering. This includes a room for infants 0-19 months, and a room for toddlers 20-35 months. There is a space for nursing moms in between these two rooms.

Our preschool and elementary rooms are located on the lower-level, with ages 3-4 in Pre-K, and ages 5-6 in Kindergarten. Elementary aged children are broken into 3 groups: grades 1-2, grades 3-4, and grades 5-6.

Is there any cost for Sunday programming?

There is no cost for your children to participate on a Sunday morning.

Am I welcome in my child's classroom?

We want you to feel comfortable and confident that your child is in a safe and caring environment. You are welcome to enter your child’s classroom to observe as a visitor. If this is your first time attending CF we would love to give your family a tour of our classrooms prior to Sunday. Please email Ashley to setup a tour for our Nursery, Preschool, or Elementary rooms at  .

How can I serve?

We would love to have you join us! After you have been attending CF regularly for 6 months you can apply for a volunteer position. The application process involves an in-depth questionnaire, personal reference checks, criminal background check, and online video Child Safety Training. (Adult Application and Junior Application)

What curriculum do you use?

We are currently using the Gospel Project by Lifeway.

The aim of CF Kids is to partner with parents to raise children to know, love and serve Jesus Christ. Our goal in midweek gathering is the heart transformation of children through intergenerational discipleship, Christ-centered teaching, memorizing God’s Word, and having fun doing it! We’ll also help our kids grow in their knowledge and understanding of various life skills along the way.

CF Kids is divided into three segments:

  • Games/Craft: Kids participate in social distancing games.
  • Large Group: Kids sing, worship and hear a Bible lesson specifically for them to apply to their life.
  • Small Groups: Kids discuss and apply the lesson further while getting to know each other on a personal level in smaller groups.

This program is for kids ages kindergarten through 5th grade.
