General Giving FAQs:

Where do my donations to Community Fellowship go?

General Operating Fund - Donations to Community Fellowship support the General Operating Fund. This fund makes the day-to-day ministries and services of the church possible.

Compassion Fund - Donations to the Compassion Fund support the ongoing needs of people in our congregation through services and financial support during difficult times.

Missions Fund - Donations to the Missions Fund helps to support the ongoing work of 18 missionary families who are stationed all over the world.

How does Community Fellowship maintain financial accountability?

The finances of Community Fellowship are monitored through a system of internal controls along with a budgeting and reporting process. The Operations Team is responsible for financial oversight along with guidance and direction for our Elders. An annual review is performed by an independent certified public accounting firm. Anyone may request a copy of Community Fellowship’s most recently auditor sanctioned financial statements. Contact Judy Riley to ask general questions about our financial practices.

How can I obtain a copy of my contribution statement?

Annual contribution statements are mailed in January and include all of the donations made for the previous calendar year for tax purposes. Interim statements are available upon request. Send an email to Judy Riley to request a current statement.

Online Giving FAQs:

Can I try this just once?

Yes. You can give once, as often as you like, or setup an automated schedule.

Can I schedule recurring donations?

Yes. You can specify whether you want your contribution made once, weekly, twice per month, monthly, quarterly, or annually.

Can I update the frequency or amount of my donation?

Yes. You can edit your automated giving at any point. The control is in your hands.

Can I designate my gift to a particular fund?

Yes. There are four funds available: General, Deacons, Debt Retirement, and Missions. You can identify a portion or all of your gift to any of these funds.

Do I pay any additional fees to give online?

No. There is no charge to give online.

When is my donation charged to my account?

Most online transactions are posted in 1-5 business days.

Is online giving secure?

Yes. All account information you enter is secure. No one has access to your data unless authorized by you.

Will I still receive a giving statement?

Will I receive a confirmation for my online donation?

After you process your gift, you will see a printer-friendly confirmation page. You can also request an email confirmation.

We value your privacy and will not share your personal information with any outside party. The information we collect on our website is used for the purpose of contacting you in the event of an error or change of scheduled event, donation, etc. We will not sign you up without your consent for email or snail-mail correspondence beyond information related to the event for which you registered.
