Join us this Fall for Man Camp and Wo’Man Camp! Guys and girls will go separate ways to spend time bonding together, away from those of the opposite sex. Man Camp will be at Camp Sullivan in Oak Forest, IL, and Wo’Man Camp will be in Delavan, WI. The cost for this trip is $50. Scholarships are available upon request.
Man Camp
Who: All 6th-12th grade men
When: Saturday, Oct. 7 – Sunday, Oct 8 - Please meet at Community Fellowship Saturday at 8:45 am. We will return Sunday at 3:00 pm.
Where: Camp Sullivan in Oak Forest, IL
Cost: $50.00/student
Registration Deadline: Sept. 29th
Theme: Taking ideas from the book "Wild at Heart" by John Eldredge, we will be looking at God's design for a man's heart - to embrace a life of courage, adventure, responsibility, purpose, and belonging. Beyond our time in studying together, we will "speak" to our young men's hearts through delicious campfire food, time in nature, and physical games that get their blood pumping. In it all, we hope to grow closer to one another and closer to God in our time away together.
Wo'man Camp
Who: All 6th-12th grade women
When: Friday, Oct 6 – Sunday, Oct 8 - We will depart from the church at 5:30 pm on Friday and return Sunday at 3:00 pm.
Where: A cabin in Delavan, WI
Cost: $50.00/per student
Registration Deadline: Sept. 29th
Theme: “No Longer I” from Galatians 2:20. We will focus on how our lives, bodies, talents and time do not belong to us but to God. We were created by God, redeemed with the blood of Christ and God call us His daughters.
