Anderson and Sara serve in Athens, Greece, and work in church planting and sports ministry. Anderson is from Brazil and has grown up in Greece since he was 13. Sara grew up attending CF and felt called to missions through a short-term trip and has been serving full-time since 2012. They have two daughters, Selah (6) and Jubilee (4). The ministry focuses on evangelism and discipleship, which use sports and fitness to bring people into the local church. Their multi-lingual home has given them a heart for reaching refugees here as they also identify with being displaced. They also desire to serve the local Greeks as this is still a very unreached country, with less than .5% of the population claiming faith in Jesus. (Operation World). Anderson coaches soccer and ping pong and connects so well with young teenagers and men with a true gift for evangelism. Sara offers free women’s fitness classes at the church plant as a way to connect and serve the local community. They love ways that church ministry also allows them to include their girls whenever possible to help reach other families.
