Summer Adult Bible Communities (ABC)

June 18, 2023 12:00am

Summer Adult Bible Communities (ABCs) will kick off on Sunday, June 18th during each of the two service hours. ABCs are mid-size communities that have been designed to foster relationships among adults while providing interactive, biblical instruction on a wide range of topics. Though over the course of the year, every community will study a variety of topics, each ABC will be distinctive and will take on its own unique characteristics.

During the 9:00 a.m. hour the ABC will be doing a study on People You Should Know. Each Sunday we will explore a different biblical character, discover the role they played in God’s redemptive plan, and glean lessons for today from their life. The ABC meeting at 10:45 a.m. will look at the topic of Heresies and How to Avoid Them. Each week a different heresy will be addressed by looking at the heresy and its origin, understanding how the church dealt with the heresy in the past, pondering how the heresy persists in the church today, and thinking through how to protect ourselves from false beliefs. The Youth ABC will continue to meet during the 10:45 a.m. service in room 113.

ABCs are a great way to build relationships with others while learning together. We trust you take advantage of one of these opportunities this summer.
